Understanding Problem Gambling

Problem gambling is a workplace wellness issue that should not be ignored. This one-hour employee training program will introduce your employees to the reality of this community health issue and the resources available for help.

Since 1999, WHEN THE FUN STOPS™ has been used to effectively train tens of thousands of employees throughout the State of Nevada.

This program can be relied upon by gaming companies to satisfy the requirement for employee training under NV Gaming Regulation 5.170 – Programs to Address Problem Gambling.

As an advocate for quality treatment of problem gambling in Nevada, the Council provides information on available training opportunities for Certified Problem Gambling Counselors* and other professionals seeking continuing education on problem gambling issues.

We encourage all mental health and social service providers to learn about problem gambling, and resources to support early intervention and treatment referral.
